About DAR Jewellery & This Opportunity
DAR Jewellery is redesigning its e-commerce website, marketplace storefronts, and digital product experience to serve gold jewellery buyers across India. Our team manages digital presence across darjewellery.com, Amazon Brand Store, Flipkart seller pages, and Google Shopping. We are looking for a UI/UX Designer Intern from Visual Communication or Computer Science backgrounds who can design clean, conversion-focused digital interfaces. Selected candidates will design real pages that are implemented and seen by live customers
Eligible Candidates
• B.Sc. Visual Communication or B.A. Visual Communication
• B.Sc. Computer Science — with an interest in UI/UX and interface design
• B.Sc. Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning — with design exposure
• B.Des in any design discipline from a recognised institution
Skills & Knowledge Expected
We welcome final-year students and recent graduates. The following foundational knowledge is expected from your degree programme — prior work experience is not required.
• Working knowledge of Figma — ability to create wireframes and high-fidelity mockups independently
• Strong visual design sense — understanding of typography, colour theory, spacing, and layout hierarchy
• Understanding of mobile-first design principles and responsive design for e-commerce
• Ability to think from the user's perspective — what makes an interface intuitive and conversion-friendly
• Basic awareness of how Amazon Brand Stores, Flipkart seller pages, and marketplace storefronts are structured
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS is an advantage but not mandatory
Key Responsibilities
• Design product pages, collection pages, and campaign landing pages for darjewellery.com
• Create mobile-first wireframes and high-fidelity UI mockups in Figma for web and mobile screens
• Design the price breakup interface, checkout flow, Click & Collect screens, and store locator page
• Design Amazon Brand Store pages, Flipkart storefront banners, and marketplace product image layouts
• Create Instagram post templates, story templates, WhatsApp broadcast image formats, and digital banners
• Review existing website and marketplace pages and document UX improvement recommendations
• Prepare design handoff assets with annotations and specifications for the web development team
• Maintain visual consistency across all digital touchpoints — website, marketplace, and social media
